Comparative Effects of Integrated Versus Sequential Approaches to Dual-Task Training in Elderly With Mild to Moderate Cognitive Impairment

Mild and Moderate cognitive impairment is a condition characterized by a noticeable decline in cognitive abilities, including memory and thinking skills, which is greater than expected for an individual's age but does not significantly interfere with daily life. Early intervention is essential to prevent further cognitive decline and progression to dementia. Dual-task training has emerged as an effective rehabilitation approach that combines cognitive and motor tasks to enhance neuroplasticity and improve both physical and cognitive performance. This study is designed to investigate the effectiveness of dual-task training compared to conventional therapy in individuals with mild cognitive impairment. Participants meeting the inclusion criteria will be recruited and randomly allocated into intervention and control groups. The intervention group will receive structured dual-task training, which may include activities such as walking while performing cognitive tasks (e.g., counting, word recall), balance exercises combined with mental tasks, and functional activities requiring divided attention. The control group will receive standard rehabilitation or single-task training. The intervention will be conducted over a specified duration (e.g., several weeks), with sessions held multiple times per week. Outcome measures will be assessed at baseline and after completion of the intervention. The primary outcome will be cognitive function measured using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE). Secondary outcomes may include balance, mobility, and functional performance. Data will be analyzed to determine the effectiveness of dual-task training in improving cognitive and functional outcomes. The results of this study may contribute to evidence-based rehabilitation practices and support the use of dual-task interventions in clinical settings.

Effects of Core Stabilization Exercises on Postural Control in Spastic Diplegic CP Children

This randomized controlled trial will evaluate the effectiveness of a 12-week comprehensive core stabilization exercise program on balance, trunk control, and gross motor function in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Outcome measures will be assessed at baseline and at the end of the intervention to determine changes following treatment.

Systemic Couple Therapy for Marital Dynamics and Mental Health

The goal of this clinical trial (randomized controlled trial within a mixed-method study) is to learn whether Systemic Couple Therapy (SCT) can treat depression and improve relational functioning in married couples where at least one partner is experiencing mild to moderate depression and relational distress. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does Systemic Couple Therapy improve relationship quality, marital communication, dyadic coping, interpersonal functioning, and overall mental health? * Does Systemic Couple Therapy reduce depressive symptoms compared to Treatment-as-Usual (TAU)? Researchers will compare Systemic Couple Therapy (intervention group) with Treatment-as-Usual (control group) to see if SCT leads to greater improvements in mental health and relational outcomes and greater reduction in depression. Participants will: * Complete standardized psychological assessments at baseline, post-treatment (8 weeks), and 3-month follow-up * Participate in 8 weekly Systemic Couple Therapy sessions (intervention group) * Receive Treatment-as-Usual such as routine couple therapy services or medication (control group)

Effect of a Structured Educational Intervention Through Mobile App on Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), Self-Efficacy and Self- Care in Adolescent With Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM)

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a mobile health (mHealth) educational intervention for adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM). Adolescents often face challenges in maintaining optimal blood glucose control and performing regular self-care. In this study, participants will receive structured diabetes education through a mobile application designed to improve their knowledge, self-efficacy (SE), and self-management skills. The impact of the intervention will be assessed by measuring changes in HbA1c levels, diabetes self-efficacy, and self-care (SC)behaviors over time. These findings may help determine whether mobile app-based education can support better diabetes management among adolescents.

Effectiveness of Attention Focus Training on Attention and Quality of Life in Stroke

This RCT will determine the effects of attention focus training which is a comprehensive intervention to improve cognitive outcomes. Attention is one of the major cognitive outcome and problems with attention can deteriorate the quality of life of people suffering from stroke. Intervention will be provided for 4 weeks. Outcomes will be assessed at baseline and after provision of intervention.

Skill Building Education of Arteriovenous-Fistula Self-Care Behaviors and Quality of Life of Patients on Hemodialysis

The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of skill building educational interventions in improving the self-care behaviors and quality of life of AVF in hemodialysis patients. This study will address questions. What is the effect of skill building education on the self-care behaviors of AVF care and quality of life in patients in patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment? A total 274 participants will be recruited from dialysis units of the study hospitals. Using random allocation 137 participants will be assigned to the control group and 137 to the intervention group. The intervention group will additionally receive a skill building education for improving their self-care behaviors and quality of life of AVF. Researcher will implement skill building educational intervention in interventional group to enhance the self-care behaviors and quality of life. This intervention have two session, first is theoretical and another one is practical. The primary outcome of this study is AVF self-care behaviors and secondary outcome is quality of life related to AVF. This outcome will be assessed using the Self-care Behaviors Scale with Arteriovenous Fistula in Hemodialysis patients (ASBHD-AVF). The secondary outcome will be assessed using the Hemodialysis Access-related Quality of Life (HARQ) which is a self-administered tool develop by Nordyke. The primary and secondary outcomes will be assessed at: baseline, after the completion of the intervention, and follow-up data will be collected at the second and sixth weeks after intervention is completed. Data will be analyzed using the Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) version 25. Descriptive statistics, means and standard deviations will be used for the continuous variables, while frequencies and percentages will be utilized for categorical demographic data (gender, educational level, hemodialysis frequency, items of self-care behavior scale, QOL). Normality of data will be check and applied test accordingly.
