DISPLAY-AF is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm post-market clinical follow-up investigation designed to evaluate whether spatiotemporal dispersion areas identified by the Volta AF-Xplorer II artificial intelligence (AI) software can predict recurrence of atrial arrhythmias after pulmonary vein isolation (PVI)-only ablation in patients with persistent atrial fibrillation.

This PMCF study "VOLTAIRE-AF" will allow to observe acute and long-term safety and performance outcomes of the last generation of Volta Medical AI software (Volta AF-Xplorer II) during AF ablation using next-generation mapping and ablation technologies over a 24-month follow-up and in "real life"clinical practice, without any imposed clinical workflow.

Observational, multi-center, clinical device registry for US patients with a primary goal to observe the clinical outcomes in patients who are mapped with Volta Medical's VX1 or AF-Xplorer systems during AF ablation procedures.

The TAILORED-LT study is conducted as an extension follow-up until 5 years of the initial TAILORED-AF study (NCT04702451), in order to demonstrate the long-term superiority in terms of freedom of atrial fibrillation (AF) of a tailored ablation strategy targeting areas of spatio-temporal dispersed electrograms in combination with pulmonary veins isolation (PVI) over an anatomical ablation strategy targeting PVI alone for the initial ablation procedure of persistent AF.
