About this trial
assess and compare the functional and aesthetic outcomes of different surgical techniques used for reconstruction of post-traumatic and post-burn first web space obliteration.
Eligibility criteria
Qualifiers
Patients with post-burn or posttraumatic first web space contracture.Functional limitation of thumb abduction Patients medically fit for surgical intervention.
Disqualifiers
Active infection in the affected hand. Uncontrolled diabetes or peripheral vascular disease Previous failed reconstruction of the same web spacel Patients unable to comply with postoperative follow-up.
