This study presents a machine learning model that predicts cycloplegic refraction in adults with myopia using standard non-cycloplegic eye measurements, aiming to reduce the need for cycloplegic drops while still identifying patients who require them.

This project aims to develop and test the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary impact of a brief, online single-session intervention (SSI) for caregivers of autistic youth ages 10 to 14. The SSI, called Project Independence, is designed to give caregivers practical tools to support greater independence in daily living routines. To test the SSI, participants will be randomly assigned to either complete Project Independence or watch a time-matched, series of educational video with unrelated content.

Accommodation is defined as a dynamic change in the overall refractive power of the eye during near fixation. Despite extensive investigations, the exact nature of human accommodation remains controversial. And recent alternative theories question the original concept of accommodation.Different experts have put forward different hypotheses. The age-related changes that underlie presbyopia are also not fully understood.Because of these unanswered questions, the topic of regulation and presbyopia remains a focus of research.
