Histological and Histomorphometric Assessment With Inflammatory Profile Analysis of Bone Tissue After Horizontal Ridge Augmentation Using Customized Porous Zirconia Shell

The goal of this clinical study is to learn whether a custom-made porous zirconia shell can support good-quality new bone when widening the lower back jaw before dental implant placement. The study includes adults whose jawbone in this area is too narrow for implants (Seibert Class I defects). The main question it aims to answer is: What is the quality of the new bone formed under a porous zirconia shell, and how much inflammation does the tissue show? Participants will: * Receive gum treatment and a CBCT scan before surgery * Have bone augmentation surgery, in which a digitally designed porous zirconia shell is fixed over a mixture of their own bone and xenograft * Return after 2 weeks for suture removal and a check of the wound * Return after 6 months for a CBCT scan, removal of the shell, collection of a small bone sample (biopsy), and dental implant placement

Novel Synthetic Membrane for Horizontal Bone Augmentation: A Case Series

The goal of this clinical study is to learn if the Inox Nanoksa G-Plus membrane works to rebuild bone in the upper or lower jaw (ridge augmentation) for adults who need dental implants but do not have enough bone width or height. It will also learn about the safety of this membrane and how patients feel after surgery. \- The main questions it aims to answer are: How much pain, swelling, and bleeding do participants experience during the first week after the bone-building surgery? How much new bone width and height does the membrane help grow, as measured on a 3D X-ray (CBCT) taken 6 months after surgery? What medical problems or side effects (such as the membrane becoming visible through the gums, infection, or graft loss) do participants experience? This is a single-treatment study; all participants will receive the same surgery using the Inox Nanoksa G-Plus membrane together with a bone graft material. Participants will: Have surgery to place the membrane and bone graft under their gums to rebuild their jawbone. Take antibiotics and pain relievers, and use a special mouth rinse for about 2 weeks after surgery. Rate their pain, swelling, and bleeding on simple scales on days 1, 3, and 7 after surgery. Return for a checkup at 1 month and have a follow-up 3D X-ray at 6 months. Undergo a second surgery at 6 months to have dental implants placed and to evaluate the newly formed bone.

Custom-Made PEEK Versus PTFE Membranes in Maxillary Alveolar Ridge Augmentation

This randomized controlled clinical study aims to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of custom-made polyether ether ketone (PEEK) membranes versus polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes in guided bone regeneration for maxillary alveolar ridge augmentation in the esthetic zone. Thirty patients requiring ridge augmentation prior to dental implant placement will be enrolled and randomly allocated into two equal groups. Group A will receive customized PEEK membranes, while Group B will be treated with PTFE membranes. Clinical and radiographic assessments, including cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), will be performed immediately postoperatively, at 6 months, and at 12 months to evaluate volumetric, horizontal, and vertical bone gain as well as soft tissue healing and complication rates.
