Gastric Cancer Patients Undergoing Gastrectomy

This study is a single-center, phase 2a exploratory clinical study based on IDEAL framework. The intraoperative and postoperative complications were analyzed to evaluate the safety, feasibility and clinical efficacy of single-port robot-assisted gastric tumor resection.

Accurate preoperative assessment of gastric cancer stage guides eligibility for endoscopic resection, extent of gastrectomy and lymphadenectomy, selection for neoadjuvant therapy, and use of staging laparoscopy. Contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) is guideline-endorsed for initial staging, yet performance varies across institutions and readers. This study will evaluate an artificial-intelligence (AI) system that analyzes routine CECT to detect gastric cancer and assign four-class T stage (T1-T4) and N stage (N0-N3) .

This study aims to evaluate the clinical applicability of a peri-habilitation program in patients with gastric cancer by applying nutritional intervention for approximately two weeks before surgery and a combined exercise and nutrition intervention for about three weeks after hospital discharge, and by analyzing its effects on the prevention of postoperative complications and recovery.
