Added-Sugars Warning Label PSAs

The purpose of this study is to determine if exposure to language-matched English-Spanish public service announcements (PSAs) can increase the understanding of and response to added-sugars menu warning labels among U.S. Hispanic adults. The hypothesis is that the experimental PSAs educating consumers about a new added-sugars menu label will significantly improve understanding of the label and reduce grams of added sugars in meals ordered from menus displaying the label. Participants will be recruited and randomized to one of two arms: (1) Control Arm: Viewing PSAs stating that using a phone while driving is dangerous or (2) Intervention Arm: Viewing PSAs informing participants about new added-sugars menu labels. Within the intervention arm, participants will be randomized to view one of three PSA themes.

A School-Based Nutrition and Fitness Program: Operation ToneUp

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if a school-based intervention, Operation ToneUp, can improve nutrition knowledge, fitness, and blood pressure in schoolchildren enrolled in grades 3-6. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Do students participating in the intervention show improved fitness, measured by upper body strength, core strength, and cardiovascular endurance? 2. Do students participating in the intervention show improved nutrition knowledge, measured by self-report? 3. Do students participating in the intervention show improved blood pressure, measured by blood pressure cuff? Researchers will compare students participating in the intervention to students at comparison schools to see if fitness, nutrition knowledge, and blood pressure differ. Participants in the intervention arm will complete two 20-minute web-based sessions focused on nutrition and fitness during class time. Participants in the comparison arm will not be exposed to Operation ToneUp. All participants will engage in pre- and post- testing including: * PE-teacher assessed push-ups, curl-ups, and PACER test * online self-reported nutrition knowledge assessments * nurse-recorded blood pressure

Randomized Evaluation of Voucher Interventions for Value and Effectiveness (REVIVE) in Philippines

This study aims to evaluate whether revised food voucher programs, combined with nutrition education sessions, can improve food security, dietary quality, nutrition knowledge, and nutritional outcomes among low-income households in the Philippines. Researchers will compare different monthly voucher amounts-Philippine Peso (PhP) 3,000, PhP 5,000, and PhP 8,000-with a no-voucher control group to determine which approach is most effective. The main questions the study aims to answer are: * Do food vouchers improve household food security, reduce hunger, and improve dietary quality and nutrient intake? * Do larger voucher amounts lead to greater improvements in nutrition and health outcomes? * Does enhanced nutrition education improve nutrition knowledge and healthy eating practices? Participants will: * Receive either a monthly food voucher or no voucher, depending on study group assignment * Attend nutrition education and Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) sessions if assigned to a voucher group * Complete household interviews on food consumption, household expenditures, food security, and nutrition knowledge * Participate in dietary assessments and anthropometric measurements for women and children under 5 years of age
