To assess the need for additional fusion surgery versus the risk of a revision surgery in patients with degenerative lumbar spinal disease and to assess efficacy and risk of the ligamentous fixation technique (vertebropexy)

* To evaluate standard clinical sequences for 7 Tesla MRI of the foot and extremities to improve detailed depiction of the complex anatomy of this region. * To evaluate various pathologies of the foot and extremities (plantar plate tears, Morton neuroma, tendon tears, ligament tears etc.).

Effect of acute exercise testing in pregnant athletes on maternal and fetal heart rate, fetal/maternal bloodflow and cardiotocogramm assessment.

High-resolution MRI (7 Tesla) of the cervical spine is capable to provide good differentiation between nerve and surrounding tissues within foramen und allows to reliably quantify the diameter of nerve roots/ganglia. Secondly, detailed anatomy of vertebral artery and its relation to neural structures / foramina can be assessed.

The goal of this observational study is to evaluate whether optimized high-resolution MRI can better visualize very fine nerves in the cervical spine and neck region compared to standard MRI. The main question it aims to answer is: Can high-resolution MRI reliably show small nerves and potentially detect their injuries or diseases that are often invisible on conventional MRI scans? Participants will come once to Balgrist University Hospital for a one-hour visit. They will fill out a questionnaire and have a single 30-minute MRI scan of the cervical spine without contrast.

We implement a prospective, randomized, unblinded, non-inferiority trial regarding the duration of systemic, targeted antibiotic therapy after the first surgical debridement for spine infection; randomizing 1:1 between 1. Six and twelve weeks of antibiotic therapy if there is an implant left in place 2. Three and six weeks of antibiotic therapy if there is no implant left

The perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis is evidence-based in orthopedic surgery. While its duration ranges from a single dose to three doses throughout the world, the choice of the prophylactic agents is undisputed. Worldwide, the surgeons use 1st or 2nd-generation cephalosporins (or vancomycin in some cases). However, there are particular clinical situation with a high risk of antibiotic-resistant surgical site infections (SSI); independently of the duration of adminis-tered prophylaxis. These resistant SSI's occur in contaminated wounds, or during surgery under current therapeutic antibiotics, and base on "selection" by antibiotics used for therapy or for prophylaxis.

Cadaver use in anatomy education is undergoing several limitations in many universities, due to high costs, time constraints and supply difficulties. As alternatives to cadaver dissections, new teaching methods based on visual technologies, such as augmented reality (AR), are being implemented worldwide. Augmented reality (AR), based on virtual interactive 3-dimensional elements (holograms) overlaid in the real-world, represents a promising alternative to explore the human body. In this study, we will test the efficacy of AR as an alternative teaching method in anatomy education by comparing traditional learning methods based on 2-dimensional (2D) images, videos, and online learning programs with the novel AR learning module The primary endpoint will consist of the score in the final theoretical and practical knowledge tests, assessed at two timepoints: immediately after the study session and after 3 months. Secondary endpoints will include adverse health symptoms and user experience, assessed immediately after the study session.
