Clinical trials

This observational study will enroll approximately 100 participants evenly split by cognitive status (Cognitively Impaired vs Non-Cognitively Impaired), and involves four clinic visits over one year (at baseline, 3, 6, and 12 months), each followed by 7 days of remote monitoring to assess the long-term feasibility of PAMSys+ (Physical Activity Monitoring System).

Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), mild cognitive impairment with Lewy bodies (MCI-LB), and Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) are severe neurodegenerative diseases that cause significant motor impairment impacting daily function. Researchers at BioSensics, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Massachusetts General Hospital and their collaborators aim to conduct an analytical and clinical validation of wearable-based digital health technologies for monitoring upper and lower limb function in PSP, MCI-LB and DLB that could enable frequent, at-home monitoring and be incorporated into future clinical trials.

The primary objective of this clinical study is to provide the initial validation for monitoring biomarkers of symptoms and functioning for individuals with frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) syndromes. Researchers at BioSensics, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Massachusetts General Hospital will use wearable sensors, computerized speech, psychomotor, and cognitive assessments to create outcome measures and digital biomarkers for FTLD syndromes. Researchers will deploy this digital health solution to monitor 60 patients with FTLD syndromes for 24 months with study visits every 6 months.

The primary objective of this clinical study is to provide the initial validation for monitoring biomarkers of symptoms and functioning for individuals with FTLD syndromes. Researchers at BioSensics and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine will use wearable sensors, computerized speech, psychomotor, and cognitive assessments to create outcome measures and digital biomarkers for FTLD syndromes. Researchers will deploy this digital health solution to monitor 20 patients with FTLD syndromes for 12 months with study visits every 3 months.

The objective of the study is to validate the use of wearable sensors and digital health technologies for monitoring disease activity in Huntington's Disease (HD). Healthy subjects, as well as subjects with documented diagnosis of HD will be screened and recruited at University of Rochester Medical Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center to participate in this 12-month observational study. There will be a total of 5 visits every approximately 3 months. In each study visit, participants will complete several Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs), Clinical Reported Outcomes, complete a series of Digital Assessments (Speech, Cognitive, Motor, and Finger Tapping). Participants will be provided with a pendant, wrist, and ankle sensors to monitor their daily physical activities for 7 days after each study visit. Participants will also be provided with a tablet to complete digital assessments (Speech, Cognitive, Motor, and Finger Tapping) on monthly basis at home.

Evaluate the feasibility of using digital health technologies to monitor disease symptoms over time in individuals with gMG who are initiating treatment with VYVGART® or VYVGART Hytrulo®. Study subjects will be screened and enrolled at Massachusetts General Brigham Hospital to participate in this 16 week observational study. Study subjects will be asked to wear multiple wearable sensors to monitor their physical activity and PPG during daily activities. Participants will also complete speech, video, and ePRO and eCOA digital assessments at home and during study visits. The primary objective of this observational clinical study is to remotely evaluate MG-specific outcomes using digital health technologies in individuals with gMG during two treatment cycles with VYVGART® or VYVGART Hytrulo®.

Evaluate the feasibility of using digital health technologies to monitor symptoms in myasthenia gravis (MG). Study subjects will be screened and enrolled at Massachusetts General Brigham Hospital to participate in this 12 month observational study. Study subjects will be asked to wear multiple wearable sensors to monitor their physical activity and PPG during daily activities. Participants will also complete speech, video, and ePRO and eCOA digital assessments at home and during study visits. The primary objective for this observational study is to measure the correlation of sensor-derived measures of physical activity to MG-specific ratings of MG-ADL, QMG, MGC, and Neuro-QoL Fatigue
