Gut Microbiota and Trichoscopic Changes in Women With Telogen Effluvium on a Multifactorial Drinkable Nutraceutical: A Retrospective Observational Study

Telogen effluvium (TE) is a common cause of diffuse, non-scarring hair shedding in women. It is often triggered by physiological stress, nutritional deficiencies, illness or hormonal changes. There is growing interest in the role of the gut microbiota in hair health, through its effects on nutrient absorption, immune regulation and systemic inflammation (the so-called gut-skin axis). However, data on gut microbiota in women with TE are still scarce. This retrospective observational study will review the medical records of premenopausal women diagnosed with TE who received a multifactorial drinkable nutraceutical as part of routine clinical care at 2 clinics between January 2025 and July 2025. The study has two aims: 1. To describe the gut microbiota profile of these women at baseline \[and after 6 months\], as assessed by \[stool analysis method\]. 2. To describe changes in trichoscopic parameters, over 6 months of supplementation \[and to explore whether baseline microbiota features are associated with these changes\]. The study does not assign any intervention: all data were collected during standard clinical practice. Its findings are intended to generate hypotheses for future controlled studies.

Oral Minoxidil With or Without a Multifactorial Drinkable Nutraceutical in Female Pattern Hair Loss: a Retrospective Study

This retrospective observational study evaluates the outcomes of a multifactorial drinkable nutraceutical combined with oral minoxidil, compared with oral minoxidil monotherapy, in women with female pattern hair loss (FPHL) treated in routine clinical practice. Data were collected from a cohort of women with FPHL (Ludwig or Olsen grade I) who received either oral minoxidil alone or oral minoxidil plus the nutraceutical for 6 months. Outcomes were assessed at baseline and at 6 months. The main assessment was standardized phototrichoscopy in the frontal region. Patient-reported outcomes included a hair-specific adaptation of the Skindex-29 quality-of-life questionnaire and a treatment perception questionnaire. Adverse events were also recorded. The study aims to explore whether adding the nutraceutical to oral minoxidil gives additional benefits in hair density, hair thickness and quality of life compared with oral minoxidil alone.

Efficacy and Safety of a Drinkable Nutraceutical for Hair Loss in Patients Using GLP-1/GIP Receptor Agonists

The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy of Olistic© Next Women, a nutraceutical supplement, compared with placebo in improving hair loss in patients undergoing treatment with GLP-1/GIP agonists. This 6-month, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical study investigates whether daily supplementation with Olistic© Next Women leads to significant improvements in hair loss in this patient population. In addition, the study assesses the safety and tolerability of the product throughout the treatment period.
