Older adults' low adherence to the national physical activity guidelines may stem from a failure to increase positive affective responses to exercise (e.g., enjoyment). Exercising with personalized, tempo-synchronous music playlists has shown promising effects on physical activity promotion in midlife-to-older adults during a cardiac rehab program. The purpose of this study is to determine how personalized, tempo-synchronous music playlists called rhythmic auditory stimulation (RAS) influence exercise behavior change and affective responses to exercise over 8 months among community-dwelling, sedentary older adults.

The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the effect of maximal mental effort combined with low-intensity resistance training on strength and neuromuscular function in older adults. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does low-intensity resistance training in combination with maximal mental effort increase strength more than low intensity resistance training alone? * Does low-intensity resistance training in combination with maximal mental effort improve neuromuscular function more than low intensity resistance training alone? Participants will be randomly assigned to 1 of 3 groups: * Low intensity resistance training * Low intensity resistance training with maximal mental effort * Control Researchers will compare groups to determine differences in changes in strength, neuromuscular function, and body composition.

The objective of this randomized controlled study is to assess the neurocognitive outcomes between individuals using immediate-release (IR) tacrolimus (Prograf®) and those who were converted to extended-release tacrolimus (Envarsus XR) among older kidney transplant recipients (KTRs).

This Guangzhou-based project uses a randomized controlled trial to test home environment modifications (e.g., anti-slip mats, lighting) for preventing falls among 320 community-dwelling elders. Over 12 months, it assesses effectiveness, cost-efficiency, and scalability, with rigorous quality control and multi-level stakeholder collaboration.

Breast cancer is one of the tumors with the highest incidence and current evidence indicates a higher prevalence in elderly patients (≥70 years) with a higher mortality rate due to immunosenescence, diagnostic delay and under treatment. Elderly patients are still poorly represented in clinical trials and the main indications for the treatment of the elderly population are extrapolated from the guidelines used in studies conducted predominantly on the younger population. In particular, these guidelines do not take into account the significant variability of elderly patients, in particular their comorbidities, performance status, physiological age and frailty. The aim of this study is to improve understanding of the clinical efficacy and safety of CDK 4/6i in older women in a real-world setting compared to younger women.

The prevalence of sexual activity decreases with age, particularly among individuals over 60 years old. Although physical dysfunctions, such as erectile disorders, play a role, the decline in sexuality is also linked to cultural and social factors, such as stereotypes and the loss of a partner. Sexuality in adulthood impacts both mental and physical health, contributing to better quality of life and reduced risks of cardiovascular disease and cancer. Maintaining a fulfilling sexual life among older adults is a public health issue that remains underexplored, particularly regarding its relationship with mental health. Primary objective To explore the association between sexuality and mental health in community-dwelling older adults. Secondary objectives To study the relationships between the different dimensions of the questionnaires (ISS, QLQC30, HAD) To examine the association between sexuality and psychotropic drug use To compare sexuality and mental health among older adults belonging to senior associations and those living in independent residences

The Integrating Health promotion with and for Older People eHealth (IHOPe) project is expected to contribute vital knowledge on how older peoples capabilities and societal resources can be used in a more efficient way to promote health, self-management and enhance teamwork in partnership.The aim is to describe and evaluate this person-centered e-support intervention that promotes a sustainable partnership between community-dwelling frail older people and health and social care professionals. A digital platform, co-created with users and designed to create inclusion of individuals who today are living in a digital alienation, will be used in the health planning. In IHOPe frail older people will be able to identify their potential health issues but also their resources together with team partners from health- and social care, family or societal representatives. The intervention consists of person-centered phone calls with a health care professional as well as access to a digital platform that is accessible to the old person and invited team-partners. The project includes a randomized controlled trial, a process evaluation and a health economic evaluation. People 75 years or older screened as frail will be included. Also, in the process evaluation team-partners using the digital platform will be included. Specifically, this project is expected to reduce hospitalizations, result in improved or retained self-efficacy whilst being cost effective. Additionally, the project is expected to enhance frail older peoples opportunities to participate as an equal partner in their contacts with health and social services.

The TBI-containing reduced-dose conditioning regimen was used to treat elderly patients with aplastic anemia who received hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The overall survival rate, GVHD-free survival rate, all-cause mortality,et al were studied. The modified conditioning regimen included TBI 2Gy, -7d, busulfan 3.2mg / kg-6d ; fludarabine 30mg / m2 / d-5 \~ -1d ; cyclophosphamide 25-30mg / kg / d-5 \~ -2d ; ATG ( rabbit ) 2 mg / kg / d-5 \~ -1d.
