Comparison of Computer-Assisted and Conventional Local Anesthesia in Children With Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization

The main questions this study aims to answer are: Does computer-controlled local anesthesia cause less pain and anxiety than conventional local anesthesia in children with molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH)? Is there a difference between the two methods in anesthesia onset time, injection duration, physiological responses, and the need for additional anesthesia? Researchers will compare computer-controlled and conventional local anesthesia in children aged 8-12 years with MIH. Each child will receive both anesthesia methods during separate dental visits, on comparable permanent molar teeth, to determine which method is more comfortable, effective, and preferred by children.

Assessment of Peridontal Inflamatuar Markers in MIH

The goal of this observational study is to investigate periodontal inflammatory mediators in systemically healthy children aged 8-13 years with and without molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH) who require initial periodontal treatment due to gingivitis. The main questions it aims to answer are: Are the levels of periodontal inflammatory mediators in gingival crevicular fluid different between children with MIH and those without MIH? Is the presence and severity of MIH associated with clinical periodontal parameters and dentin hypersensitivity? Researchers will compare children with MIH to children without MIH to determine whether MIH is associated with changes in periodontal inflammatory mediator levels and periodontal clinical findings.

Evaluation of Occlusal Force and Masticatory Function in Children With Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization

This study aims to evaluate right-left chewing balance and masticatory function in children with Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH) before and after restorative treatment. MIH is a developmental enamel defect that may cause tooth sensitivity, discomfort during chewing, and functional asymmetry. Children aged 7 to 12 years with bilateral MIH affecting the first permanent molars will receive glass hybrid restorative treatment. Right-left occlusal force distribution will be assessed using a digital occlusal analysis system. In addition, chewing side preference and chewing balance will be evaluated using a standardized chewing gum protocol. These two assessment methods will be used together to provide complementary information about masticatory function. Measurements will be performed before treatment and during follow-up visits after treatment. The findings obtained from children with MIH will also be compared with healthy children without MIH. The study aims to determine whether restorative treatment improves chewing balance and functional oral performance in children with MIH.

Color Change and Desensitization of Molar Incisor Hypomineralization-Affected Enamel Using Biomimetic Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste

This clinical trial aims to evaluate if nano-hydroxyapatite (Nano-HA) toothpaste effectively treats children with Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH). It will also assess the safety of Nano-HA toothpaste. The main questions are: * Does Nano-HA toothpaste reduce caries incidence, improve tooth aesthetics, and decrease hypersensitivity? * How does Nano-HA compare to fluoridated toothpaste in terms of outcomes? Participants will: * Use Nano-HA or fluoridated toothpaste daily for 12 months. * Visit the clinic for checkups and evaluations every 1 to 3 months. * Record symptoms, brushing compliance, and sensitivity. The study will compare Nano-HA toothpaste to fluoridated toothpaste to determine its efficacy in managing MIH .
