The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of viewing nature imagery accompanied by music on blood pressure and pain in intensive care unit patients compared with standard care. The questions to be answered within the scope of the research are: Does viewing nature imagery accompanied by music affect blood pressure in intensive care unit patients compared with standard care? Does viewing nature imagery accompanied by music affect pain levels in intensive care unit patients compared with standard care? Participants will: The patients will be divided into two groups: an intervention group and a control group. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of digital visual and auditory stimulation on anxiety and sleep quality in patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit (ICU). The questions to be answered within the scope of the research are: Does the application of digital visual and auditory stimulation to patients in intensive care units have a significant effect on anxiety levels? Does the application of digital visual and auditory stimulation to patients in intensive care units have a significant effect on sleep quality? Does the application of digital visual and auditory stimulation to patients in intensive care units have a combined effect on anxiety levels and sleep quality? Participants will: The patients will be divided into two groups: an intervention group and a control group. The intervention group will receive visual and auditory stimuli once a day, every morning for three days. Sleep quality and anxiety levels will be measured after the digital visual and auditory stimuli. The control group will continue with routine intensive care unit follow-up treatments.

The aim of researchers is to compare the effects of three different local anesthetic concentrations and volumes on opioid consumption, postoperative analgesic efficacy, and pain scores during ultrasound-guided SPSIP blocks in patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy. Additionally, we aim to map and identify the dermatomal areas where different concentrations and volumes of SPSIP blocks provide analgesia.

Early identification of drug-related side effects, assessment of causality, and classification of severity form the basis of pharmacovigilance practices. In this context, the Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS), run by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is an important data source for detecting drug-related side effects and presenting safety signals. Large databases like FAERS draw attention to potential drug-related side effects and provide valuable information on drug safety. However, this data is largely based on patient/user or physician feedback, and these systems are insufficient to assess the true frequency, clinical severity, and impact on patients' quality of life of side effects. Side effects related to medications prescribed in periodontology clinics are often considered mild or transient, thus limiting systematic feedback based on real-life data. Therefore, systematic and patient-centered clinical studies using standard algorithms and scales based on real-life data are needed. This study aims to determine the frequency of side effects related to medications prescribed in a periodontology clinic over an 18-month period and to evaluate them according to gender and age. As a secondary aim, it aims to evaluate the causal relationship of these side effects with the medications, their clinical severity, and their impact on patients' quality of life related to oral health using a holistic approach. This will ensure that not only the presence of side effects but also clinical and patient-centered outcomes are presented in an objective, standardized, and reproducible manner.

This study aimed to compare rhomboid intercostal plane block and serratus posterior superior intercostal plane block (SPSIPB) to determine the most suitable technique for maintaining postoperative analgesia in video-assisted thoracoscopic surgeries (VATS).

Our aim was to investigate the effect of quadro iliac plane block on postoperative analgesia in patients undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery and to determine which areas of the skin this block anesthetizes.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of mandala art therapy on psychological resilience and coping with cancer in patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery. This study was conducted as a randomized controlled trial with a pre-test-post-test design, including intervention and control groups. The study will be conducted between January 2026 and December 2026 with patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery. The G.power 3.1.9.7 program was used for sample size calculation. The sample size was determined as 28 individuals in each group, considering equal sample sizes in the experimental and control groups, a 95% confidence interval (type I error 5%), and statistical power of 80% (type II error 20%) with an effect size of d=0.50. However, considering a possible 20% data loss, 35 individuals will be included in each group, resulting in a total sample size of 70 individuals. Sample selection will be made using sequential sampling according to inclusion criteria. Patients will then be randomly assigned to the experimental group (A) and the control group (B) using block randomization (four-block). First, 15 blocks of four, such as AABB, ABAB, ABBA, BBAA, BABA, BAAB, etc., will be prepared by the researcher and statistician. Individuals will then be divided into two groups according to the prepared list; this process will be repeated continuously until the sample size is complete. Three data collection forms were used. SPSS 22.00 software package was used for data analysis. Skewness and kurtosis analyses were performed to determine the normality of the data distribution. Frequency (n) and percentage (%) distributions were calculated to determine the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of the participants. Independent samples t-test was used to determine the mean differences between two independent groups, dependent samples t-test was used to compare pre- and post-intervention measurements, and repeated measures one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. Cohen's d effect size was calculated to evaluate the significance of the difference between groups in terms of the intervention. The statistical significance level was accepted as p\<0.05.

This randomized controlled experimental study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a training program based on the Jigsaw teaching technique and scenario-based learning in improving the peripheral intravenous catheterization skill levels of first-year nursing students. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention group, receiving Jigsaw-based collaborative learning combined with clinical scenarios, or the control group receiving traditional skills training. The primary outcome is the improvement in students' clinical skill performance as measured by a standardized skill assessment checklist. This loss of strength in the trunk and periarticular muscles increases the load on the joint, contributing to the development and progression of the disease. This study aimed to investigate the effects of core stabilization, applied in addition to knee muscle exercise programs, on clinical symptoms and functional capacity in individuals with knee osteoarthritis.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of a mobile application developed for obese children on eating attitudes, eating awareness, and healthy eating self-efficacy. The application seeks to support children in developing healthy eating habits and to integrate nursing interventions with digital health technologies in combating obesity. Data will be collected through a researcher-developed Information Form and three validated scales: the Eating Attitude Test, the Eating Awareness Scale, and the Healthy Eating Self-Efficacy Scale, completed by both children and parents.

The aim is to compare the postoperative analgesic effects of Adductor Canal and Biceps Femoris Short Head Blocks with Adductor Canal Block in patients undergoing Knee Arthroplasty surgery

The aim is to compare the postoperative analgesic effects of Quadroiliac Plane Block (QIPB) and Suprainguinal Fascia Iliaca Compartment Block (SIFICB) in patients undergoing hip surgery.

This study is designed as a single-blind randomized controlled trial. Male and female patients aged 18-65 years with complaints of non-specific low back pain (NSLBP) lasting longer than 12 weeks will be included in the study. Participants will be randomly assigned into two parallel groups: control and intervention. The control group will perform core stabilization exercises five days a week for three weeks. In the intervention group, core stabilization exercises will be combined with 360-degree breathing exercises. To our knowledge, there is no randomized controlled trial investigating the effect of combining core stabilization with 360-degree breathing in individuals with NSLBP. The aim of this study is to examine the acute effects of combining 360-degree breathing techniques with core stabilization exercises on balance and proprioception in individuals with NSLBP.

This study explores the impact of an ARCS-based training program on nursing students' communication skills, learning motivation, and self-efficacy. Communication is essential in nursing for quality patient care and safety, yet students often struggle with it. The ARCS Motivation Model-focused on Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction-aims to boost motivation and improve learning outcomes. Using a randomized controlled design, the study compares an experimental group receiving ARCS-based training with a control group receiving traditional education. Key outcomes include improved communication skills, motivation, and self-efficacy. This research highlights the potential of the ARCS model in enhancing nursing education and student performance.

This randomized, triple-blind clinical trial compares the effectiveness of Z-track and TPR (traction-pressure-release) techniques in reducing pain and medication leakage during ventrogluteal intramuscular injections. Pain is measured using VAS, and leakage is assessed with a millimeter scale. The study aims to identify a more efficient, less painful injection method.

Urinary catheterization is the insertion of a tube through the urethra into the bladder to empty or flush the bladder. Catheterization is preferred in patients with urinary retention and urinary incontinence, in patients who will undergo surgical intervention or in cases where a procedure needs to be performed in the urinary tract, and is applied for short (1-7 days), medium (7-28 days) and long term (longer than 28 days) (National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. (2023). Urinary catheterization is frequently preferred in applications related to treatment and care. According to the CAUTI report, the frequency of urinary catheterization in hospitalized patients in one year is between 15-25% in the world. This rate is between 10-15% in developed countries and 20-30% in developing countries (CAUTI, 2015).

Cholecystectomy is the most frequently performed abdominal surgery in developed nations, with laparoscopic cholecystectomy being recognized as the gold standard technique for treating gallstones. The efficacy of TAP block for pain relief has been well-documented following laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedures. Recently, m-TAPA block has emerged as an alternative analgesic technique for abdominal surgeries. This study aims to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of these two analgesic methods in managing postoperative pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
