Orthostatic hypotension is a common geriatric syndrome associated with an increased risk of falls, syncope, functional decline and mortality in older adults. Current European recommendations provide standardized procedures for its detection, including blood pressure measurements in the supine and standing positions at specific time intervals. Despite these recommendations, variability in clinical practice and potential gaps in healthcare professionals' knowledge may limit effective screening. The aim of this study is to assess nurses' knowledge and practices regarding orthostatic hypotension screening within the geriatric department of Hôpital NOVO. The study hypothesis is that nurses' knowledge and practices regarding orthostatic hypotension screening are heterogeneous and may differ from current recommendations.

The purpose of the study is to understand the biomechanical properties of septal cartilage as well as the cartilages used in nasal reconstruction and to identify them histologically.

Residents of long-term care facilities are subjected to procedures and treatments that may be painful. The prevalence is 90% among older adults living in institutions. Preventing procedure-induced pain is essential, as the consequences can be even more harmful. Induced pain is defined as "short-term pain caused by a healthcare provider, treatment, or care, under predictable circumstances," according to the UPSA Pain Institute. For these older adults, personal hygiene is performed in bed by nursing assistants and requires frequent handling and repositioning. It includes dressing and undressing, which are sources of pain. Despite this, these activities are repeated daily because they are essential. Addressing pain is a fundamental criterion for quality of life in older adults. In many cases, these residents require daily premedication with analgesics to prevent pain caused by personal care. For these residents, who are already on multiple medications, the addition of analgesics increases the risk of drug interactions, leading to more frequent side effects.

This study aims to validate a French version of the Nasal Reconstruction FACE-Q questionnaire for patients who have undergone nasal reconstruction or prosthetic rehabilitation after surgery for nasal skin cancer. The questionnaire evaluates appearance, quality of life, and possible side effects related to the reconstruction. The investigators hypothesize that the validated French version will provide a reliable and standardized tool to assess patient satisfaction and health-related quality of life in this context.

In neonatal intensive care, physicians are sometimes confronted with decisions to withhold or withdraw life-sustaining treatment for a critically ill newborn. In France, these decisions are made by the medical team through a formal collegial ("ethics") meeting. Parents are not legally required to take part in this meeting, and their participation remains very rare at the national level. Since 2018, the neonatal intensive care unit of Hopital NOVO (Nord Ouest Val d'Oise) (Pontoise site) has systematically offered parents the possibility of attending the collegial ethics meeting concerning their child when withholding or withdrawal of treatment is being considered. This study aims to evaluate the value of parental presence at the ethics meeting in helping parents understand the medical decisions made for their newborn. This is a retrospective, single-centre, non-interventional, qualitative study based on a questionnaire developed specifically for this purpose, in the absence of any validated tool. Parents of newborns for whom an ethics meeting was held between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2025 are invited to share their experience. Two questionnaire versions are used, one for parents who attended the meeting and one for parents who did not, allowing comparison between the two situations. The questionnaire explores parents' understanding of the decision, the emotional impact of the meeting, their sense of guilt and their acceptance of the decision. Main hypothesis: parental participation in the ethics meeting promotes a better understanding of the medical decision, reduces feelings of guilt, and improves parents' long-term emotional experience.

CERNAS is a prospective, multicenter, non-interventional study comparing the functional and aesthetic outcomes of two rehabilitation strategies after total or subtotal nasal amputation: surgical reconstruction (primarily paramedian forehead flap or free flap) versus nasal epithesis (prosthesis). Patients who have undergone either rehabilitation at least one year prior to enrolment will be invited to complete the validated French version of the SCHNOS (Standardized Cosmesis and Health Nasal Outcomes Survey) questionnaire. The study aims to provide an objective, patient-reported comparison of these two options to guide future clinical decision-making.

This retrospective study, aims to evaluate the functional and aesthetic results of lower lip reconstructions, incorporating both patient experiences and the analysis of physicians and surgeons working on facial issues (plastic surgeons and dermatologists) in order to optimize future therapeutic strategies.

The purpose of the study is to recruit as many patients as possible presenting with sacroiliitis or authentic axial spondylarthritis and giant cell arteritis. The investigators will also be interested in the association of spondylarthritis and polymyalgia rheumatica given the continuum between these two pathologies. The aim is to investigate whether there is an association between giant cell arteritis and spondylarthritis or polymyalgia rheumatica and spondylarthritis.

Peripheral venous catheters (PVCs) are the most commonly used intravascular medical devices in healthcare establishments. Although essential in patient care, PVCs represent a significant risk factor for nosocomial infections, as shown by the results of the national prevalence survey. While the main pathophysiological mechanisms are known, the specific factors driving the transition from simple colonization to infection remain unclear. This project aims to identify the major factors involved in the occurrence of bacterial infections related to the colonization of peripheral venous catheters.
